"My homage to all those who lost their lives in Hiroshima. The bombings remind us of the horrors of war and their effect on humanity.

Solution to problems of humanity lie in peace and progress. Let us walk shoulder to shoulder to create a peaceful world, free from violence", the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today shared Sanskrit Subhashitam emphasising that India’s continuous rise on the global stage is powered by the determination, hard work and collective spirit of its people.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit verse-

“यथाशक्ति चिकीर्षन्ति यथाशक्ति च कुर्वते।

न किञ्चिदवमन्यन्ते नराः पण्डितबुद्धयः॥”

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“देशवासियों के इन्हीं गुणों से भारत आज अपने सामर्थ्य को निरंतर बढ़ा रहा है…

यथाशक्ति चिकीर्षन्ति यथाशक्ति च कुर्वते।

न किञ्चिदवमन्यन्ते नराः पण्डितबुद्धयः॥”
