PM Narendra Modi began his Sri Lanka visit by paying his respects at one of the sites of the horrific Easter Sunday Attack, St. Anthony's Shrine, Kochchikade.

 

"I am confident Sri Lanka will rise again. Cowardly acts of terror cannot defeat the spirit of Sri Lanka. India stands in solidarity with the people of Sri Lanka", the PM said in a tweet.

PM Modi addressed the Dialogue with BRICS Business Council and New Development Bank. The PM said the BRICS Business Council should make a roadmap of achieving the target of $500 billion Intra-BRICS trade. He also urged BRICS nations and New Development Bank to join coalition for disaster resilient infrastructure.
