The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has greeted the nation on the occasion of Dhanteras.

“Dhanteras greetings to all of you. I pray that this very special day brings prosperity, happiness and good health in everyone's lives,” the Prime Minister said.

PM Modi shares Sanskrit Subhashitam emphasising the importance of Farmers

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-

“सुवर्ण-रौप्य-माणिक्य-वसनैरपि पूरिताः।

तथापि प्रार्थयन्त्येव कृषकान् भक्ततृष्णया।।”

The Subhashitam conveys that even when possessing gold, silver, rubies, and fine clothes, people still have to depend on farmers for food.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“सुवर्ण-रौप्य-माणिक्य-वसनैरपि पूरिताः।

तथापि प्रार्थयन्त्येव कृषकान् भक्ततृष्णया।।"
