Today Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh have embarked on a new path of development and trust: PM Modi

Ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections in Haryana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed an election rally in Ballabhgarh today. Hailing the people of the state, PM Modi said, “Haryana is the land of brave and the land of saints.”

Speaking at the rally, PM Modi said, “During the last election, the opponents were asking me, you are here to ask for votes, but who is your captain? My answer then was, if Haryana elects us, the state would not just get a firm captain, Haryana would also get a firm team.”

“You have given me five years' time. It's not even been five months since the formation of the new government, but I am taking steps one by one. Today, world leaders want to stand with India,” said the PM.

Stepping up his attack on the opposition for going to foreign countries and asking for intervention over nullification of Article 370, the Prime Minister dared them, "if they have guts", to declare in their poll manifesto that they will restore the provisions giving special status to Jammu and Kashmir.

“Today J&K and Ladakh is on the way to development, and the credit for this must go to the 130 crore Indian citizens and voters. It was because you pressed the 'lotus' symbol that I got the power to fulfill your dreams, he added furthermore.

Addressing his first campaign rally in the run-up to the October 21 Haryana Assembly polls in Ballabhgarh, PM Modi said that during the Lok Sabha elections, Congress had applied full force so that India shouldn't get Rafale, a new fighter jet. But despite their attempts and conspiracies, we got Rafale to India.

PM Modi talked about the several central schemes which are benefiting the people of Haryana at large. He said, “In the past five years, almost 9 lakh toilets have been built in Haryana. More than 32,000 homes have also been built in Haryana. Also, a number of modern connectivity projects are being developed in the state.”
