The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed grief over loss of lives in a road accident in Nashik district of Maharashtra.

“The accident in Maharashtra’s Nashik district is unfortunate. In this hour of sadness, my thoughts are with the bereaved families. May the injured recover at the earliest”, Prime Minister said.

Both leaders reviewed the steady progress in India–U.S. bilateral relations and exchanged views on key regional and global developments.

Prime Minister Modi and President Trump reiterated that India and the United States will continue to work closely together to advance global peace, stability, and prosperity.
