The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep concern over the flood situation in Varanasi.

“Deeply concerned by the flood situation in Varanasi. PMO is closely monitoring the situation and is in touch with local authorities.

NDRF teams are present at Varanasi for rescue and relief work. The MP office there is working round the clock to provide all assistance.”, the Prime Minister said.
