PM announces an additional ex-gratia relief from PMNRF for those affected by train derailments in Madhya Pradesh
Ex-gratia relief of Rs. 50,000 sanctioned from PMNRF for those seriously injured in MP twin train derailments

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has announced an ex-gratia relief of Rs. 2 lakhs each from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund, for the next of kin of those who lost their lives in the two train derailments in Madhya Pradesh. This is in addition to the relief assistance already announced by the Railways.

An ex-gratia relief of Rs. 50,000 has also been sanctioned from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for those who were seriously injured in the derailments.

I would also like to appreciate the role of BSF during rescue and relief work in the wake of natural disasters.”
