At the Pariksha Pe Charcha townhall, PM Modi quoted example of legendary spinner Anil Kumble. PM Modi recalled how even with a major injury, Kumble had bowled and taken important wickets in a match against West Indies in 2002.

PM Modi said, "No one can forget Anil Kumble bowling with a major injury. In 2002, while playing against West Indies, Anil Kumble was hit and he injured his jaw. But he did not leave the match. He bowled with the broken jaw and dismissed Brian Lara who was among the best batsmen of that time."
