On 11th of October, Thursday Shri Narendra Modi addressed the gathering at Fagvel in Kheda District. Shri Modi was addressing Vivekananda Yuva Vikas Yatra. The Chief Minister stated that in the name of strengthening the economy the “Dishavihin” Central Government is pushing the agriculture and animal husbandry sector of India in trouble. He further added that the Congress Government has dishonored the dreams of Veer Bhathiji who had sacrificed his life for cow protection, Mahatma Gandhiji who was also an advocate of cow breeding and Vinoba Bhave.

Shri Narendra Modi spoke in the reign of the present congress government the farmers producing cotton have to pay for exports, on the contrary subsidy is provided for the export of meat. Shri Modi asserted that Loans and subsidies are provided to open slaughter houses, concessions on mutton transportations, and financial assistance for dispatching the mutton up to the port these incentives to promote meat exports is an insult to the crores of farmers and above all to the person who had sacrificed his life for cow protection Veer Bhathiji.

Congress Government ruling at the center is not interested in White Revolution and Green Revolution, but is interested in vote bank politics and “Pink Revolution” Shri Modi affirmed. They are not interested in India’s important professions like animal husbandry but are finding new ways to promote meat export he added.

The concluding day of Vivekananda Yuva Vikas Yatra was on the birth anniversary of Jayaprakash Narayan, who had been a guiding light in Navnirman Andolan – The Nationwide fight against corruption. Considering the significance of the day, Shri Modi asserted during the time when everyday a new chapter of corruption of the central government is being unfolded the people of Gujarat should team up to fight a crucial battle against corruption.

Shri Modi appealed the people not to forgive this government for cheating the people by fake promises like removing inflation within 100 days. UPA’s 8 years of rule at centre has created records in inflation and corruption he added and requested the gathering not allow these corrupt people to enter Gujarat.

The Chief Minister declared that Gujarat Government is the one that works, the one that takes decisions, the one that is determinant; it is not the one that breaks promises. Creation of Mahisagar district, Fagvel Taluka, and Galteshwar Taluka   are the results of Government of Gujarat which understands the pains and requirements of public Shri Modi affirmed. With the blessings of Bhathiji and initiating the Gaurv Yatra from this land of sacrifices Gujarat today has completed 11 years of development and has spread the message of Peace and Happiness among people he said.

The Yatra that had begun with the blessings of Becharaji on Vivekananda Digvijay day will conclude today on the holy land of Pavagadh. Swami Vivekananda was the worshiper of Maa Kailka and Pavagadh is the pilgrimage place for people of Gujarat and country at large, Shri Modi sought the blessings for Bhavyta(Grand) and Divyata(Divine) of Gujarat from the holy place.

Education Minister Ramanlal Vora, Revenue Minister Mrs. Anandiben Patel, BJP national vice-president Purushottam Rupala, also spoke on the occasion.

Prime Minister pays tributes to former Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar on his birth anniversary

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has paid tributes to former Prime Minister, Shri Chandra Shekhar on his birth anniversary.

The Prime Minister noted that this year marks the beginning of Chandra Shekhar Ji’s 100th birth anniversary and said it is an occasion to reiterate the commitment to realising his vision for a prosperous and just India.

Recalling his legacy, the Prime Minister said that Chandra Shekhar Ji is remembered as a mass leader blessed with courage, conviction and a deep commitment to democratic values. He highlighted that firmly rooted in the soil of India and sensitive to the aspirations of ordinary citizens, Chandra Shekhar Ji brought simplicity and clarity to public life.

The Prime Minister also recalled the instances when he had the opportunity to meet Chandra Shekhar Ji and exchange perspectives for the development of the nation.

The Prime Minister called upon the youth of India to read more about the thoughts and efforts of Chandra Shekhar Ji towards India’s progress.
