During the session, PM Modi participated in insightful discussions, addressing key issues, and seeking feedback on grassroots initiatives.

Highlighting the importance of grassroots engagement, PM Modi emphasized the role of BJP Karyakartas as canvassers, urging them to enlighten people about financial transactions and apprise them of the government's welfare schemes.

Interacting with PM Modi, a woman Karyakarta acknowledged the significance of the NaMo App in facilitating connectivity and updates. She said that such initiatives encouraged discussions on crucial topics like women's security, ration distribution, housing, LPG connections, and sanitation, stressing the need to engage with first-time voters about the previous government's shortcomings.

PM Modi urged active participation on social media platforms and the creation of women's WhatsApp groups for discussions to enhance outreach and engagement. Also, he emphasized the value of seeking advice from veteran party Karyakartas, maintaining politeness, and persuading voters with BJP-NDA ideologies.

Appreciating the unparalleled enthusiasm of BJP Karyakartas in Uttar Pradesh, PM Modi underscored the importance of maintaining awareness of developments and ensuring robust preparations at the booth level for record victories.

The Prime Minister condemned dynastic politics and emphasized the emotional connection of Uttar Pradesh residents to the state, urging Karyakartas to conduct themselves with sensitivity and humility during the election campaign.

Prime Minister hails India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement as a historic milestone for bilateral relations

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has expressed delight that the India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement will enter into force on 15 July 2026.

The Prime Minister said that the agreement will significantly boost bilateral trade and investment.

Shri Modi stated that the agreement will unlock numerous opportunities for Indian farmers, workers, MSMEs, startups and innovators and contribute meaningfully to the realisation of Viksit Bharat 2047.

The Prime Minister noted that both he and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who are in Evian for the G7 Summit, are very happy with the significant momentum being added to India-UK economic ties.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“A historic milestone for India-UK relations.

Delighted to note that the India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement will enter into force on 15th July 2026.

This agreement will significantly boost our bilateral trade and investment.

It will also unlock numerous opportunities for Indian farmers, workers, MSMEs, startups and innovators and contribute meaningfully to the realisation of Viksit Bharat 2047.

Both PM Starmer and I, who are in Evian for the G7 Summit, are naturally very happy with the significant momentum being added to our economic ties.
