Prime Minister extended best wishes to Assam Government on the start of Gunotsav. The PM said that Gunotsav would improve education standards across the state. "Gunotsav is a great initiative to gauge the quality of learning. Teachers & students will greatly benefit from this", Shri Modi said.

The Prime Minister said that the visit of Prime Minister of Canada, Mark Carney to India, has built a strong foundation for a truly renewed partnership between the two nations.

The Prime Minister said that he looks forward to working together to build a future defined by trust, growth, innovation and shared prosperity for the people of both countries.
