PM Modi to visit NCMC, a centre designed to provide inter-agency coordination & alerting people about threat of emergency situations

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, will visit Russia's National Crisis Management Centre (NCMC) in Moscow, on December 24th, 2015.

The NCMC is a multi level coordination centre designed to provide inter-agency coordination, and alerting people about the threat of emergency situations. The capabilities of the NCMC include state of the art real time monitoring, data collection, analysis and modelling. It uses global navigation satellite systems and global monitoring technologies based on remote sensing.

The NCMC processes information from across Russia, and claims to possess capability to continuously monitor industrial facilities, crowded areas, tsunami threats, other natural disasters etc.

Prime Minister expresses pride in Indian contingent’s performance at Commonwealth Games 2026

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has expressed pride in the performance of the Indian contingent at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow.

The Prime Minister expressed delight that India won 39 medals, including 13 Gold medals, and congratulated all the medal winners.

Shri Modi said that throughout the Games, the Indian athletes displayed exceptional skill, determination and dedication. He added that their hard work will continue to inspire the nation’s youth.

Shri Modi also extended his best wishes to the entire Indian contingent for their future endeavours and expressed hope that they would continue to bring greater glory to the nation.

Shri Modi wrote on X;

“Proud of our contingent’s performance at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.

Delighted that India has won 39 medals, including 13 Golds. Congrats to the medal winners.

Throughout the Games, our talented athletes have displayed exceptional skill, determination and dedication. Their hardwork will keep inspiring our youngsters.

My best wishes to the entire Indian contingent for the endeavours ahead. May they continue to give their very best and bring further glory to the nation.
