ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦୀ ଆଜି ଗୁଜରାଟର ବଚାଉଠାରେ ଏକ ପମ୍ପିଂ କେନ୍ଦ୍ରକୁ ଉଦଘାଟନ କରିଛନ୍ତି । ଏହା ତପ୍ପାର ଡ୍ୟାମକୁ ନର୍ମଦା ନଦୀରୁ ଜଳ ନିଷ୍କାସନରେ ସହାୟକ ହେବ । .
ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ଏକ ବିଶାଳ ସମାବେଶକୁ ଉଦବୋଧନ ଦେଇ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ ଆଜିର ଉଦଘାଟନ ଦ୍ୱାରା କଚ୍ଛର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ନାଗରୀକ ନିଜକୁ ଗୌରବାନ୍ୱିତ ମନେକରିବେ । ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ଜଳ ସଂରକ୍ଷଣର ମହତ୍ତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭୂମିକା ସଂପର୍କରେ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କରିଥିଲେ । ସେ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ କଚ୍ଛର ଜନସାଧାରଣ ଜଳ ଅମଳ, ସଂରକ୍ଷଣ ଓ ଏହାର ସୁଷମ ବ୍ୟବହାର ସଂପର୍କରେ ବେଶ୍ ସଚେତନ ଅଛନ୍ତି । ଗୁଜରାଟର ସରକାରମାନେ କ୍ରମାଗତ ଭାବେ ଜଳ ସଂରକ୍ଷଣ ଉପରେ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱ ଦେଇଆସିଛନ୍ତି । ଏବେ ନର୍ମଦାର ଜଳ କଚ୍ଛ ଅଂଚଳରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବା ଦ୍ୱାରା ଏହି ଅଂଚଳର ଏକ ବିରାଟ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ହେବାକୁ ଯାଉଛି ।
ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ ଗୁଜରାଟର ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ସହର ଭଳି ଭୂଜରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଏକ ଅତ୍ୟାଧୂନିକ ବସ୍ ବନ୍ଦର(Bus Port) ନିର୍ମିତ ହେବ । ସେ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ ଏବେ ବିକାଶ ଓ ସକାରାତ୍ମକ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଉପରେ ଅଗ୍ରାଧିକାର ଦିଆଯାଉଛି ଯାହାକି ଗୁଜରାଟକୁ ବିକାଶର ନୂତନ ସୋପାନରେ ପହଂଚାଇବ ।
