PM Modi holds bilateral level talks with US President Donald Trump in New York

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Donald Trump held talks on the sidelines of the UN session in New York. The meeting comes days after both leaders were together at the 'Howdy Modi' programme in Houston.

The leaders held extensive talks during their meeting. PM Modi termed President Trump as a great friend of India. He also thanked President Trump's gesture of attending the 'Howdy Modi' programme in Houston.

Prime Minister recalls India’s Maritime Heritage on National Maritime Day

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi on the occasion of National Maritime Day, recalled India’s rich maritime heritage and acknowledged the invaluable contribution of all those associated with the sector.
Shri Modi stated that the dedication of individuals in the maritime sector strengthens the nation’s economy, trade and connectivity.
The Prime Minister further reaffirmed the government’s commitment to harness the immense potential of the maritime sector for ensuring a prosperous future for the nation.
