ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦୀ ଆଜି ପଞ୍ଜାବ ଗୁରୁଦାସପୁରର କର୍ତାରପୁର ସାହିବ କରିଡରଠାରେ ସମନ୍ୱିତ ତନଖି ଫାଟକ ଉଦଘାଟନ କରିବା ସହିତ ପ୍ରଥମ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟ ତୀର୍ଥଯାତ୍ରୀ ଦଳର ଯାତ୍ରାକୁ ପତାକା ଦେଖାଇ ଶୁଭାରମ୍ଭ କରିଛନ୍ତି ।
କର୍ତାରପୁର କରିଡର ଉଦଘାଟନ କରିବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଗୁରୁ ନାନକ ଦେବଜୀଙ୍କ ଜୀବନୀ ଆଧାରିତ ଏକ ଡିଜିଟାଲ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନୀ ଏବଂ ଯାତ୍ରୀ ଟର୍ମିନାଲ ବିଲ୍ଡିଂକୁ ବୁଲି ଦେଖିଥିଲେ ।
ଯାତ୍ରା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ସେ ତୀର୍ଥଯାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଥମ ଦଳ ସହିତ ମତ ବିନିମୟ କରିଥିଲେ ।
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today condoled the loss of lives the mishap in East Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya. He announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF for the next of kin of each deceased and Rs. 50,000 to the injured.
