PM bows to Bhai Taru Singh Ji, on his 300th birth anniversary

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has bowed to Bhai Taru Singh Ji, on the occasion of his 300th birth anniversary.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, "On the special occasion of his 300th birth anniversary, I bow to the great Bhai Taru Singh Ji. His name will always be synonymous with courage and fearlessness. Always proud of his culture as well as ethos, he never bowed to injustice. He continues to inspire millions."

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam today highlighting that agriculture is not merely a means of livelihood, but the fundamental basis of the nourishment of society and the nation.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"कृषि केवल जीविका का साधन नहीं, बल्कि समाज और राष्ट्र के पोषण का मूल आधार है। हमारे किसान भाई-बहनों का पसीना जब मिट्टी में मिलता है तो अन्न बनकर देशवासियों के जीवन को संबल देता है।

ते कृषिं च सस्यं च मनुष्या उप जीवन्ति।
कृष्टराधिरुपजीवनीयो भवति य एवं वेद॥
