Hon'ble CM holds emergency meeting for likely cyclone in the Arabian Sea

In the wake of south-western cyclonic disturbances formation likely in the Arabian Sea, the State Disaster Management at its emergency meeting here late this evening directed the entire administration to be prepared for the eventuality and public awareness.

The district authorities particularly in the coastal region have been asked to meet at least twice daily till the all clear signal.

The meeting presided over by Chief Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi took stock of the latest developments as per the satellite pictures with Ahmedabad director of Indian Meteorological Department Dr Kamaljeet Ray, besides GSDMA additional executive director Shri V. Thiruppugazh, Principal Secretary Revenue Shri P. Paneervel, Chief Minister's Principal Secretary Shri Kaliashnathan, Relief Commissioner, among others.
