Concluding the 'Abhiyan' of 'Kar-Seva' where soil and water were being brought into a 'Kalash' to the building of Mahatma Mandir, Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi said that communal strength of 11 crore hands of Gujarat will astonish the world with its power to grow.
Shri Modi said that Mahatma Mandir is not an ordinary building. It showcases the collective energy and aura of 5.5 crore people of Gujarat. Mahatma Gandhi is beyond the boundaries of place and time but we are committed to actualize his dream of turning 'Gramrajya into Ramrajya'.
Mahatma Mandir will keep on inspiring us as it is build on the memories of a legend that is reckoned by entire world. The movement of building such a monument with the soil and water of the lands of world will surely mark its sign over history, he said.
Shri Modi said that time capsule lowered into Mahatma Mandir will unveil the history of Swarnim Jyanti for the researchers even after thousand of years. Talking to the government officials he said, they may be the officers of any cadre but it is their good fortune that the people entrust them a responsibility of making a golden Gujarat.
Rural Development and Panchayat Minister Shri Narottambhai Patel in his welcome address said that Shri Modi has made growth of the State as his mantra. 'Rurban' approach is employed to bring villages parallel to cities. Rural development will be given prime importance during the Swarnim year.
