Ekmat Gujarat Bane BhaJap Sarkar (Gujarat is unanimous, let there be a BJP Government)!

After taking on Congress over their lack of leadership and vision, latest ‘Ekmat Gujarat’ ads showcase Gujarat’s answer to the corrupt Congress!

Without a single word, with brilliant usage of action the ads say it all!

The first “Ekmat Gujarat, Bane BhaJap Sarkar” (Gujarat is unanimous, let there be a BJP Government) ad has already become a rage on the TV, Internet and Social Media. Now there are 2 more ads on the same theme that carry on the attack on the Congress!

If the first advertisement showcased the absence of a leadership and visionary zeal among the Congress, the 2 new ads focus on the strong answer to the corrupt Congress by the people of Gujarat!

One of the Ads titled ‘Line of Victory’ wonderfully brings out a round of Kabaddi in which the player in Saffron attire steps out to take on the team in Blue. Already unable to nominate a captain and struggling to choose a vice captain, the team in Blue seems perturbed on the very arrival of the player from the other side. And when the round gets underway, dispute their ‘best’ effort the player from the team in Saffron is able to taste success on the field.

The other ad titled ‘Gujarat’s Answer to Corrupt Congress’ is fantastic mixture of sharp wit and humour. In this ad, it is the turn of a player from the team in Blue to go the den of the team in Saffron. Again, stung by the confidence and strength of the other team, the 5 team members in Blue make every effort to ensure that it is the other who goes to take on the opposite team. To the point of being cowardly, no one wishes to enter the den of the lion!

Finally, when one player does go he takes the easier way out of trying to throw heaps of dust onto the rival team (much like the Congress misleading the people with lies and false promises) but his efforts go in vain when the captain of the team in Saffron has got the player upside down merely with one hand as the rest of the team looks on in support.

These ads truly portray the political climate in Gujarat. On one hand there is a rudderless, leaderless and visionless Gujarat Congress that is using every wrong trick out of the book to destroy the development in Gujarat whereas on the other hand is the BJP, which is blessed with determined spirit, a grand vision a strong leader and most importantly a team of wonderful Karyakartas. The contrast could not be greater!

Again, in the age of mundane ad campaigns these ads come as a breath of fresh air and no wonder they are a hit among social media, Internet and TV.

SYNOPSIS OF THE FIRST AD

The first ad depicts the start of the Kabaddi game where the two teams (one in Saffron and the other in Blue) are face to face. When the referee calls for the captains to come for the toss, the captain of the team in Saffron confidently walks out whereas from the other side there is no one ready to come.

When the referee asks the Blue team to send the vice captain an intense fight begins on the field between the team members. And away from the jostling over vice captaincy, the captain of the team in saffron jerseys is already at the toss, waiting for the game to begin.

All 3 ads end with the BJP’s symbol with the punch line “Ekmat Gujarat, Bane BJP Sarkar” (Gujarat is unanimous, let there be a BJP Government).
