Jignesh Shah, a Party Karyakarta from Ahmedabad shared an interesting anecdote about Narendra Modi. He recalled Modi’s one of the advices given to him that displayed the latter’s simplicity and sensitivity towards everyone.
The instance dates back to 1995-96, when, for the first time, a BJP government was formed in Gujarat, a four-days session was planned by the Party in Ahmedabad’s Chharodi. Several ministers, Narendra Modi and many other dignitaries were in attendance. Jignesh Shah Ji was one of the Karyakartas accompanying Narendra Modi during that time.
Getting to spend four days with Narendra Modi at the Party session, Jignesh Shah Ji was inspired by Narendra Modi’s thought process. Shah recalled the entire instance in a video.
He said, “I spent four days with him. He is such a simple and sensitive person. While the drivers of ministers sat outside, Modi Ji would give me special instructions to arrange food for them. He would say that their duty is such that they accompany us day and night selflessly… No doubt they get their salary but they work with devotion. So, they should be offered food before us. Such was his thought process.”
