My Dear Brothers and Sisters,
My heartiest greetings to all on this day when Gujarat is entering the 51st year of it’s statehood.
Gujarat has completed 50 years of its journey in the path of development. Gujarat has celebrated its Golden Jubilee year with utmost vigor& enthusiasm. The entire celebration stands testimony to the people’s power. I salute the development potential behind this power.
The state administration has also shown extraordinary promptness in the larger interest of the people and made many significant achievements. Right from a peon to chief secretary, all my five lakh Karmayogis deserve compliments for these achievements. At the same time, all Gujaratis, living outside the state – within the country or abroad, have gone rah-rah while celebrating Swarnim Jayanti of the state and have created a new chapter in the history of Gujarat.
In the first decade of the 21st century itself, Gujarat has successfully proved that core focus on development rather than wasting time on acrimonious debates can be the only way forward to serve the nation in the best possible way.
On 1st May, 2011, the foundation day of Gujarat, all the 6 crore Gujaratis reiterate collectively their commitment for the state. To facilitate the Swarnim Yug – Golden Era in the state, we still need further development – development by all, for all and of all. Development is our only mantra.
Let’s take inspiration from this Swarnim Year to enter into the Swarnim Yug.
Jai Jai Swarnim Gujarat...
