Gandhinagar, Thursday: Kerala’s Labour & Rehabilitation Minister Shibu John paid a courtesy call on Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi here today.

Mr. Modi briefed Mr. John about Gujarat’s novel Skill Development Centres and the proposed Skill Development University.

Mr. John briefed Mr. Modi about Kerala’s developed tourism industry. They also discussed about the state of construction industry in respective states.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi congratulated Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley, on her historic third consecutive electoral victory in Barbados. Shri Modi added that India deeply values its long-standing friendship with Barbados, which continues to expand across diverse areas of cooperation. "I warmly recall our meeting on the sidelines of the India-CARICOM Summit in 2024 and look forward to working closely with her to further strengthen our partnership for the benefit of our peoples", Shri Modi said.
