Shri Modi announces Jesar as a separate Taluka

On Monday, 1st October 2012 Shri Narendra Modi addressed the Vivekananda Yuva Vikas Yatra in Jesar, Bhavnagar District. Shri Modi announced the creation of Jesar as a separate Taluka. The Yatra was greeted with great enthusiasm by people from all sections of society especially the youth.Shri Modi paid rich tributes to former chief minister Shri Balwant Mehta.
The Chief Minister came down heavily on Prime Minster Dr. Manmohan Singh for funding Madam Sonia Gandhi’s personal trips from people’s hard earned money. With whose permission have you taken Rs. 1880 crores from Delhi’s Treasury for Madam Soniaji’s personal tours to America? Shri Modi directly questioned the Prime Minister.
Shri Modi affirmed that this budget of Rs. 1880 crore spent of travels of Mrs. Sonia Gandhi equalled the budget of Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, Junagdah, Rajkot Nagarpalika. The Chief Minister wondered what sort of simplicity is this?
Shri Modi shared that had these Rs. 2000 crore have been utilized for building power houses the farmers of Saurashtra would have got lifelong electricity supply free.
The Golden Jubilee Year of Gujarat – 2010 had broken all the records and was mentioned in Guinness Book of World records, instead of one day it had to be continued for two days and every moment of celebration became memorable Shri Modi said. He added Contrary to this Common Wealth Games wrapped with corruption spent 700 crores while the golden jubilee celebration of Gujarat utilized only 7 crores and this is the difference between the disha of Congress and BJP.
