Shri Modi congratulates Indian team for winning U-19 world cricket championship 

Our cricketers have done us proud yet again, Congrats to them: Shri Modi 

Shri Modi wishes Cheteshwar Pujara on his first centurty in Test cricket.

As the Indian Under-19 cricket team lifted the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup for the third time, Shri Narendra Modi congratulated the young players for their woderful performance.

Shri Modi Tweeted, “Our cricketers have done us proud yet again. Congratulations to the young players for winning the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup.”

The Chief Minister congratulated Ahmedabad’s Samit Patel who is the wicketkeper of the winning Under-19 team. Shri Modi serves as the President of the Gujarat Cricket Associaiton (GCA).

A few days ago, Shri Modi had congratulated another player from Gujarat, Cheteshwar Pujara on his first test century in Test Cricket against New Zeland. He Tweeted, “Congratulations to Cheteshwar Pujara for his maiden Test century against New Zealand. We are very proud of him!”

Prime Minister highlights values of harmony and compassion on Good Friday

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, said that Good Friday reminds us of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Shri Modi expressed hope that the day deepens the values of harmony, compassion and forgiveness.

He said that brotherhood and hope should guide everyone.

In a X post, Shri Modi said;

“Good Friday reminds us of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice. May this day further deepen the values of harmony, compassion and forgiveness. May brotherhood and hope guide us all.”
