Replying to a tweet by MLA Shri Bhabani Shankar Bhoi the Prime Minister tweeted :


"An interesting thread on Aadi Mahotsav, which is happening in Rourkela, Odisha. India is proud of the heritage and culture of our tribal communities."

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam emphasising that knowledge can be gained only through devoted service to the Guru.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-

"यथा खात्वा खनित्रेण भूतले वारि विन्दति।

तथा गुरुगतां विद्यां शुश्रूषुरधिगच्छति॥"

The Subhashitam conveys, that just as one must dig deep into the earth with hard work and patience to obtain water, in the same way, knowledge can be gained only through devoted service to the Guru, with faith, dedication, discipline, and sincerity.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

तथा गुरुगतां विद्यां शुश्रूषुरधिगच्छति॥"
