Prime Minister pays tributes to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on his birth anniversary

The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, paid heartfelt tributes to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar on his birth anniversary.

The Prime Minister said that Babasaheb Ambedkar’s unparalleled contributions to nation building continue to inspire generations. He highlighted that Dr. Ambedkar’s life and ideals motivate citizens to work towards building a just, inclusive and progressive society.

The Prime Minister also noted that Dr. Ambedkar’s personality and works will always remain a guiding force for the nation’s development.

Shri Modi shared a sanskrit Shubhashitam-

अयं निजः परो वेति गणना लघुचेतसाम्।

उदारचरितानां तु वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्॥

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“Tributes to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on his birth anniversary. His efforts towards nation building are deeply motivating. His life and work continue to inspire generations to build a just and progressive society.”

“डॉ. बाबासाहेब अम्बेडकर का व्यक्तित्व और कृतित्व राष्ट्र निर्माण के लिए प्रेरणापुंज बना रहेगा।

अयं निजः परो वेति गणना लघुचेतसाम्।

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the tragic mishap at a power plant in Sakti district of Chhattisgarh.

The Prime Minister extended his condolences to those who have lost their loved ones and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured. He also noted that the local administration is assisting those affected.

The Prime Minister announced that an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000.

The Prime Minister’s Office posted on X;

“The mishap at a power plant in Sakti district, Chhattisgarh, is tragic. I extend my condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. May the injured recover at the earliest. The local administration is assisting those affected.
