Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his historic visit to Papua New Guinea, was conferred with three prestigious civilian awards. He was conferred the ‘Grand Companion of the Order of Logohu’ by Papua New Guinea, ‘Companion of the Order of Fiji’ by Republic of Fiji and ‘Ebakl’ Award by Republic of Palau.
In a special ceremony at the Government House, H.E. Sir Bob Dadae, Governor-General of Papua New Guinea (PNG) conferred Prime Minister Modi with the Grand Companion of the Order of Logohu (GCL). This is the highest civilian award of PNG and recipients of the award are titled "Chief".
PM Modi was conferred the highest honour of Fiji, the Companion of the Order of Fiji. It was presented to him by PM Rabuka.
President Surangel Whipps, Jr. of Palau presented PM Modi with an Ebakl. It is one of the most important tools for the people of Palau and has a strong link with the local culture. It also symbolises leadership and wisdom.

Your Highness, Excellencies, नमस्कार।
ब्रिक्स के विस्तृत परिवार में आप सभी का हार्दिक स्वागत है।
आज यह सभागार अलग-अलग महाद्वीपों, संस्कृतियों और विकास यात्राओं को एक साथ जोड़ रहा है। यह ब्रिक्स की बढ़ती ताकत, आकर्षण और अभूतपूर्व विश्वास का प्रमाण है।

भारत की अध्यक्षता में हमने सभी प्रयास Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation और Sustainability, इन चार स्तंभों पर केंद्रित किये हैं। मुझे खुशी है कि आप सबके सहयोग और समर्थन से हम अपने साझा vision को win-win सहयोग में बदल सके।
आज विश्व में तनावों की संख्या लगातार बढ़ रही है, और सामान्य मानव के जीवन पर इसका बहुत negative प्रभाव भी हो रहा है, और व्यापक प्रभाव भी हो रहा है।
महामारियों, climate disasters और supply-chain disruptions ने दिखाया है कि आज के interconnected world में कोई भी संकट एक क्षेत्र तक सीमित नहीं रहता। इसलिए हमने ब्रिक्स समूह में Resilience बढ़ाने पर विशेष बल दिया है। चुनौतियों को समय रहते पहचानना, उनके लिए तैयार रहना और तुरंत कार्रवाई करना भी उतना ही आवश्यक है।
इसी सोच के साथ, infectious diseases के prevention और response के लिए BRICS Integrated Early Warning System पर सहमति बनी है। Disaster Management के लिए Early Warning Data Integration Guidelines तैयार की गई हैं। BRICS Logistics Supply Chain Cooperation Framework हमारी supply chains को अधिक reliable और resilient बनाने में सहायक होगा।

Innovation के अंतर्गत BRICS Incubator Network हमारे start-ups और incubators को आपस में जोड़ेगा। Innovative और scalable solutions को बढ़ावा देने के लिए हमने BRICS Startup Innovation Fund का प्रस्ताव रखा है।
BRICS Network on Digital Agriculture किसानों के लिए नई संभावनाएं तैयार करेगा। इसके माध्यम से AI, geospatial technology और Digital Public Infrastructure को किसानों की वास्तविक आवश्यकताओं से जोड़ा जाएगा।
Technology और Critical Minerals का weaponization हमारी साझा प्रगति में बाधा बन सकता है। इसलिए हमने technology के adoption में inclusivity पर बल दिया है।

भारत ने ब्रिक्स के मंच से मित्रता, सहभागिता और सहयोग को आगे बढ़ाया है।
हमारा प्रयास रहा है कि ब्रिक्स cooperation केवल सरकारों तक सीमित न रहे। हमारे entrepreneurs, farmers, researchers, women, youth और सामान्य नागरिक भी इसके सक्रिय भागीदार बनें।
हमने BRICS CONNECT के माध्यम से skills, employability, women in workforce, social security और capacity building को बढ़ावा दिया है।
छोटे उद्यमों को knowledge, finance और नए markets से जोड़ने के लिए, BRICS MSME Cooperation Portal का इनिश्यटिव लिया गया है।
हमारे शहरों के बीच best practices साझा करने के लिए BRICS Urban Mobility Hub की स्थापना की गई है।

भारतीय सभ्यता में प्रकृति को माँ का दर्जा दिया गया है। सदियों से हमारी मान्यता रही है कि विकास और पर्यावरण एक-दूसरे के विकल्प नहीं, पूरक हैं। BRICS में भी हमने मानव विकास और पर्यावरण के बीच संतुलन पर बल दिया है।
यही Sustainability का आधार है। यह भावी पीढ़ियों के प्रति हमारा दायित्व भी है। इस दिशा में हमने कई पहलुओं पर प्रगति की है।
Smart Grids और Energy Storage के लिए हमने BRICS Digital Centre of Excellence बनाया है। यह हमारे clean energy systems को अधिक reliable, efficient और accessible बनाने में मदद करेगा।
Agro-Ecology और Regenerative Agriculture के Centers of Excellence, पारंपरिक ज्ञान को modern science से जोड़ेंगे। Community-based climate adaptation के लिए तैयार किये गए सिद्धांत, indigenous knowledge को climate action का महत्वपूर्ण आधार बनाएँगे।

इन चारों स्तंभों पर आगे बढ़ते हुए BRICS के माध्यम से हमने inclusive global growth को बढ़ावा देने का प्रयास किया है। क्योंकि हमारा मानना है कि BRICS में विकसित solutions का लाभ केवल ब्रिक्स तक सीमित नहीं रहना चाहिए। इन्हें ग्लोबल साउथ की आवश्यकताओं के अनुरूप adaptable और accessible बनाना चाहिए।
साथियों,
मैं मेरे निजी अनुभव से कह सकता हूं कि BRICS में Global South के देशों का विश्वास बढ़ा है, क्योंकि BRICS में-
उनकी आवाज सुनी जाती है। उनके अनुभव का सम्मान होता है। और solutions उनके लिए नहीं, उनके साथ मिलकर बनाए जाते हैं।
BRICS की शक्ति हमारी diversity और cooperation में है।
We may be rooted in different realities, but together, we rise through cooperation, and blossom for humanity.
हमारी विविधता हमारी पहचान रहे, हमारा सहयोग हमारी प्रेरणा बने, और हमारी प्रगति पूरी मानवता के काम आए।
