The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the demise of Telugu, Sanskrit scholar, Shri Kandlakunta Alaha Singaracharyulu.

In a series of tweets, Prime Minister’s Office said;

“శ్రీ కండ్లకుంట అళహ సింగరాచార్యులు గారి మృతి నన్ను చాలా బాధించింది. సంస్కృత తెలుగు భాషల పట్ల వారికున్న మక్కువ వారి రచనల్లో ప్రతిబింబించేది. వారి అపార జ్ఞానసంపదకు వారు చాలా గౌరవించబడ్డారు. వారి కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు శ్రేయోభిలాషులకు నా సంతాపాన్ని తెలియజేస్తున్నాను. ఓం శాంతి: PM @narendramodi”

“Pained by the passing away of Shri Kandlakunta Alaha Singaracharyulu Garu. His passion towards Sanskrit and Telugu was reflected in his works. He was greatly respected for his knowledge and wisdom. My thoughts are with his family and well-wishers. Om Shanti: PM @narendramodi”

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam highlighting the importance of living with self-respect, courage and dignity. He emphasised that true valour and strength lie in remaining steadfast in one’s principles and values, without compromising them under any circumstances.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-

“उद्यच्छेदेव न नमेदुद्यमो ह्येव पौरुषम्।
अप्यपर्वणि भज्येत न नमत्वेव कस्यचित्॥”

The Subhashitam conveys that a person should always live with self-respect, courage and dignity. True valor and strength lie in never compromising one's principles and values under any circumstances, but remaining steadfast in one's ideals with truth, patience and self-pride.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;
