ಪ್ರತಿವರ್ಷ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 11ರಂದು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುವ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಗುವಿನ ದಿನದಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ನೀಡಿರುವ ಸಂದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ :-
“ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸದಿಂದ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯವರೆಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಗು ತನ್ನ ಛಾಪು ಮೂಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಗುವಿನ ದಿನದಂದು ನಾನು ಅವರ ಸಾಧನೆಗೆ ಗೌರವ ವಂದನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
ಲಿಂಗದ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ತಾರತಮ್ಯ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಗು ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಎಲ್ಲ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳು ದೊರಕುವಂತಹ ಭಾರತದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾವು ಸಂಘಟಿತರಾಗಿ ದುಡಿಯಬೇಕು.” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
