Shiv Sena delegation briefs PM Modi about voluntary initiatives for the education sector

Shri Aditya Thackeray, President of the 'Yuva Sena,' called on the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today. He was accompanied by a delegation comprising Shiv Sena MPs including Shri Anandrao Adsul. Shri Aditya Thackeray briefed the Prime Minister on voluntary initiatives for the education sector – including distribution of study material for Classes 8th, 9th and 10th through "Tablet PCs" in the state of Maharashtra.



The Prime Minister appreciated the initiative and complimented Shri Aditya Thackeray for the same.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today expressed deep sadness over the passing of Thiru Bharathiraja Ji. The Prime Minister noted that he was a towering figure of the cinema world whose works transformed Tamil cinema.

Shri Modi observed that his portrayal of rural life was particularly noteworthy. The Prime Minister stated that his thoughts are with his family and admirers in this hour of grief, praying Om Shanti.

The Prime Minister posted on X:
