PM announces ex-gratia relief of Rs. 50,000 from PMNRF for severely injured people in Tamil Nadu flood

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has announced an ex-gratia relief of Rs. 2 lakhs each, from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund, for the next of kin of those who lost their lives in the floods dues to heavy rains in Tamil Nadu.

An ex-gratia relief of Rs. 50,000 has also been sanctioned from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund for those who were seriously injured in the floods.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, visited and offered prayers at the Arulmigu Subramaniyaswamy Temple in Thirupparankundram, Madurai today.

During his visit to the sacred temple, the Prime Minister sought blessings for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of all citizens. The Prime Minister expressed his hope that Lord Murugan would continue to guide us with strength, courage, and wisdom.

The Prime Minister shared his sentiments with the invocation, "Vetrivel Muruganukku Arogara!"
