On 22nd July, on the occasion of Guru Poornima, Shri Narendra Modi extended his warm greetings to the people of India. He called for people to remember all the Gurus who with their oceans of knowledge have built this strong country by educating generations and instilling values and peace in them.
He tweeted,
“गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णुः गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः | गुरु: साक्षात परं ब्रह्म तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः.||गुरु पूर्णिमा की सभी को हार्दिक शुभकामनायें”
