Vibrant Gujarat Summit тАУ 2011:
State government will organize a state-of- the-art mega exhibition on the site of Mahatma Mandir, covering an area of 30,000-sq.mt. in Gandhinagar, with a view to disseminate information on the stateтАЩs history, its future, investment opportunities lying in various sectors.
The mega-exhibition, being held during January 10-18, will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi on January 10, 4:30 PM. The exhibition will be open for people during January 15-18.
As many as 16 countries and 19 states of India will take part in the exhibition. Various theme pavilions are being erected on the venue that will give information on some 18 different fields like Environment and Technology, food processing, oil, gas, power, pharmaceutical, ports, sheep building related businesses, SIR, SEZ and others. One such pavilion will speak about new Gujarat taking place on the coastline of Gujarat, clean and green Gujarat and inclusive growth. Around 300 stalls are also erected that will represent various industrial sectors.
An infotainment zone has also been created where from a 40 feet seamless video wall and multiple interactive systems will take the visitor into the past with real time rendering of Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar PatelтАЩs speeches to experiencing 3-D walk through the future cities of Gujarat.
User technologies such as motion sensor, surface touch and voice to interact with graphics and visual mediums are on display. It would be an opportunity for people of all age groups to see first hand the latest technologies of the world. As many as 8 interactive screens will allow visitors the opportunity to play an interactive quiz and check their тАШGaurav QuotientтАЩ.
Besides, a stall of tourism department, art-village demonstrating live product making by artisans, replica of Dandi Kutir with a diameter of 35 meters, giant Charkha Gate, two giant sized windmills, food court and many more could be spotted on the venue as the attractions for visitors.
