Jan Chetna Yatra in Gujarat – 2 days visit to Vapi, Valsad, Navsari, Surat, Vadodara and Ahmedabad.

Shri Narendra Modi said, "Wherever there is voice of corruption, it is always against the Congress. The two have become synonymous.”

“BJP Lotus will Shine as Congress slings mud on BJP” – Shri Narendra Modi

Senior BJP Leader Shri L K Advani's Jan Chetna Yatra entered Vapi in Gujarat on Sunday, 6th November, 2011. Shri Narendra Modi warmly greeted him on his arrival at Vapi, on the border of Gujarat and Daman. Gujarat BJP president RC Faldu was also present on the occasion.

Lauding Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi for "good governance" and making the state "corruption-free", Advani said that he was overwhelmed by the reception he received in the state.

The BJP leaders addressed public rallies in Vapi, Valsad, Navsari and Surat as further visit will be covered for second day to Vadodara and Ahmedabad.

Mr. Advani said that the 21st century would belong to India, if the black-money stashed in foreign banks is brought back to the country. He felt that the scams during the UPA regime have brought "shame" to the entire nation.

He said, "Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi have brought shame to the parliamentary form of democracy of the country."

Shri Narendra Modi said, "Wherever there is voice of corruption, it is always against the Congress. The two have become synonymous.” The cold response of Central Government to BJP’s demand to bring back black money, Shri Narendra Modi stated, ‘Daal mein kuchh kala hai, but sometimes I feel puri daal hi kaali hai.’

“During Chimanbhai Patel’s regime in 1974, Gujarat has been the first to raise voice against corruption” said Shri Narendra Modi.

Shri Narendra Modi felt that Development can be done without Corruption. His experience proves the point that Corruption can be eliminated as running the Government without corruption is possible. Shri Modi accused the Congress of making scapegoats of its coalition partners. “PM can speak of compulsions and policy but not Gujarat Government nor the nation can do so,” he said.

Shri Narendra Modi further said, “If there is a will, there is a way. Government can be run without Corruption.” He strongly opined his voice that Gujarat will not tolerate corruption. The nation, too, will not tolerate it. He stated, ‘People know it all. The corrupt on power will have to bend low.

Addressing a rally while on way to Surat, Shri Modi said, "You remember Congress while talking about corruption and you remember Gujarat while talking about development in the country."

Terming the Union government as "deaf and mute", Shri Narendra Modi raises questions, "Why does Congress not speak of bringing back black money to India? Why does it spend the day from morning to evening preparing statements for the media?"

The Lotus (BJP party symbol) shines even brighter as Congress slings mud at BJP.
