Israel envoy calls on Chief Minister

Mumbai-based Israel's consul general Oma Sangiv  today called on Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

During the meeting, the CM and the Consul General discussed a range of issues relating agriculture, water conservation and science and technology and how a mutually fruitful partnership can be forged between Gujarat and Israel.

Shri Narendra Modi invited Israel to become country partner in the ‘Krishi Mahotsav’ organized by the state government annually, said a government release.

The consul general sought information about the functioning of the Police University and Forensic Science University set up by the state government, the release stated.
