Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will pay a State visit to Bhutan from 11-12 November 2025. The visit seeks to strengthen the special ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and is in keeping with the tradition of regular bilateral high-level exchanges.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will receive audience with His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the King of Bhutan, and the two leaders will inaugurate the 1020 MW Punatsangchhu-II Hydroelectric Project, developed jointly by Government of India and the Royal Government of Bhutan. Prime Minister will attend the celebrations dedicated to the 70th birth anniversary of His Majesty Jigme Singye Wangchuck, the Fourth King of Bhutan.
