Hon’ble CM releases Parmanand Gandhi’s book - ‘Aapano Vaidic Vaarso’

“A complete solution to the present-day challenges of global warming and terrorism is available in Vedic tradition. We need to honour our great culture and then the world will also acknowledge it”, said Chief Minister Mr. Narendra Modi today while releasing a book named ‘Aapano Vaidic Vaarso' penned by Mr. Parmanand Gandhi.

A book release function was held today at Ahmedabad by Shraddha publication on the birthday of Mr. Parmanand Gandhi. Speaking on the occasion Chief Minister said that Mr. Gandhi has lived like a karma yogi and is continually presenting the essence of shashtras before the society since last five decades. Mr.Gandhi has devoted his entire life for the shashtras and culture, Chief Minister said.

Chief Minister also recalled his first contact with Mr. Gandhi in 1962 during his (Mr. Modi's) childhood.

Chief Minister said the knowledge of Vedas was a creation of those people who lived in a fully developed and harmonized system of human existence. Vedic knowledge was orally transmitted, which has kept it intact till date. “Our ancestors had designed the texts like shrutis, smritis, upanishads and panchtantra with a scientific approach and stressed the action over philosophizing”, said Chief Minister.

There was a time when likeminded people were meeting in kumbh mela every twelfth year. They used to ponder over the problems prevailing in their society in the light of Vedas and used to come out with novel solutions to those problems. Vedic tradition can change its external shell according to the demand of time even as keeping its essence intact, which is its biggest strength, said Chief Minister.

Prime Minister congratulates Rastriya Swatantra Party leaders on electoral success in Nepal

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, had warm telephone conversations with Mr. Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), and Mr. Balendra Shah, Senior Leader of the RSP.

Shri Modi congratulated both leaders on their electoral victories and the RSP’s resounding success in the Nepal elections. He conveyed his best wishes for the forthcoming new Government and reaffirmed India’s commitment to work with them for mutual prosperity, progress and well-being of the people of both countries.

Expressing confidence in the future of India-Nepal relations, the Prime Minister said that with joint endeavours, the partnership between the two nations will scale new heights in the years ahead.

In a X post, the Prime Minister said;
