Hon'ble CM lays out vision for the Summit

Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi while interacting with the tycoons of business and industries in Ahmedabad, on Monday, laid out vision for Vibrant Gujarat Global Investor’s Summit 2011. Gujarat’s achievements serving as strong testimony of Gujarat’s indomitable determination and perseverance, there was overwhelming response from the captains of Industrial Houses. Gujarat being the fastest growing state is all set to prove her eminence in global economy.

Decade of achievements’, bright cheers and hopes, the Summit is likely to prove very successful, and CM outlined the success of his meets with barons of industries at Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangaluru, which has remained successful. It is bound to offer great impetus to our economy. Around 80 countries and 12 States of India are to participate the Summit; it offers positive opportunity to capital investors. This time, the venue is shifted to Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar. It took seven months to finish construction work.

Endorsement of Gujarat’s capacity, CM highlighted the advance infrastructure facilities available in Gujarat which affirms its position as an investment destination. He welcomed the constructive suggestions made by office bearers of Industrial associations. Around 50 towns of Gujarat are to take development projects honouring the requirements of environment protection, he added. He also outlines State’s policies for –Solid waste management, Waste Water Treatment, Recycling of Water –Solar energy, and technology transfer in water desalination in the coastal areas.

Principal Secretary, Industries department, Shri Maheshwar Shahu outlined the theme of Summit. Prominent among those present were Finance Minister Shri Vajubhai Vala, Minister of State for Industries Shri Saurabh Patel, Ministers and Chief Secretary A.K.Joti.
