First of all, I offer my prayers to कोनई अम्मन and भगवान मुरुगन of मरुद-मलई. Just a few days ago, my Tamil brothers and sisters celebrated पुत्तांडु across the world. I take this opportunity to wish all of you good health, happiness and prosperity. A new year brings new hope and new energy. In this time of new beginnings, a new chapter is being written in the politics of Tamil Nadu. Tamil people are giving one clear message. NDA is in. DMK is out!

कोंगु-नाडु, especially कोवई, is a land of hardworking and affectionate people. You have always stood firmly with the politics of development, with BJP-NDA. और इसीलिए मैं जब भी यहां आता हूं, मुझे एक अपनेपन का भाव महसूस होता है। आज अपनों के बीच, मैं अपनी पीड़ा और अपना गुस्सा व्यक्त करना चाहता हूं।
In 2023, we passed the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam. And on the 16th of this month, we took a historic step to move towards implementing women’s reservation in Parliament and legislative assemblies.
मैंने पर्सनली, सारी पॉलिटिकल पार्टीज से इसे सपोर्ट करने की अपील की थी।
I told them very clearly that they may take the credit I have no objection. I only wanted sisters from ordinary familiesto be able to come to Parliament and Vidhan Sabhas in greater numbers. But unfortunately, this noble effort was derailed. DMK, Congress and their allies made it a target of hatred and petty politics. If this Bill had been passed, many Tamil women from ordinary families would become MPs and MLAs. Basis the 2011 census, Tamil Nadu was going to get so many more seats. But, clearly, DMK did not want this to happen. Anyhow, the DMK’s actions are now very very clearly exposed. By wearing black clothes, DMK cannot cover up their wrong intentions. I want to tell the DMK that people know your black deeds. You cannot escape your black deeds any longer.
जनता DMK के काले कारनामे अच्छी तरह से जान चुकी है. झूठ फैलाने से DMK के काले कारनामे छिपने वाले नहीं हैं. और मैं तमिल नाडू की जनता को assure करता हूँ... I assure you all that this is not the end of our fight. This is just the beginning.

Today, DMK has no achievements to showcase, no real issues to raise. That is why they resorted to spreading false fears about a reduction in Tamil Nadu’s seats. DMK had said earlier that current proportional representation must be maintained. और हमने इसी का प्रस्ताव भी दिया था… लेकिन अब इन लोगों ने यू-टर्न कर लिया।
Why does it trouble DMK and Congress to see ordinary women rise? These “one-family parties”want power to remain confined within their own families. आज तमिलनाडु में, महिलाएं और यहां तक की छोटी बच्चियां भी....
क्रिमिनल्स से सुरक्षित नहीं है। DMK harms women in Tamil Nadu by enabling violence and crime. They do not stand with women in Parliament either. लेकिन अब, डीएमके की इस नारी विरोधी सोच को जवाब जरूर मिलेगा।

मैं तमिलनाडु की हर बहन से कहूंगा, कि वो डीएमके और डीएमके के लोगों को जहां देखें…वहीं उनसे सवाल करें. Ask them why they opposed a Bill meant to ensure women’s representation. Ask DMK why they denied Tamil women this golden opportunity. And on April 23rd, give them a clear and powerful message. I see Tamil Nadu as an important engine of growth for India. In the last eleven years, the Centre has provided more than fourteen lakh crore rupees to Tamil Nadu. This has come as tax devolution, as highways, airports, railways and welfare schemes.
कांग्रेस और डीएमके जब दिल्ली में राज करते थे तब तमिलनाडु को जितने पैसे मिलते थे, ये धनराशि उससे कई गुना ज्यादा है। Over the past five years, two things have increased to record levels in Tamil Nadu. The first is - one family’s wealth and the second is- Tamil Nadu’s debt. The DMK’s top family is becoming richer and richer, while the debt on each person of Tamil Nadu is becoming more and more. DMK’s policy is by the family, of the family and for the family. CM – same family. Deputy CM – same family. Prominent MPs in Delhi – same family. Films, media houses – many such things controlled by one family. यहां तक कि डीएमके के सीनियर नेताओं को भी, एक परिवार के जूनियर मोस्ट मेंबर्स के सामने झुकना पड़ रहा है।
Whenever I meet people from Tamil Nadu they tell me: There is a big competition in the family here. This competition is between the son and the son-in-law. There are competing on who will loot more. Tamil Nadu needs vision in governance not son or son-in-law loot. On a connected note, DMK and their ally in Delhi has one thing common. In both, the son-in-law has done quote unquote wonders. And, India is fed-up of one son-in-law.Tamil Nadu is fed up of another son-in-law. इन दोनों परिवारों के भ्रष्टाचर से जनता बहुत परेशान है.
But look at the contrast between DMK and BJP. Take the example of a proud son of Coimbatore, Thiru CP Radhakrishnan Ji. No political background. He grew through honesty and hard work. For example, when he was in the Coir Board, he took its exports to record levels. Now, a son of Coimbatoreis our Vice President. कोयंबटूर के लोगों ने, हमेशा से डीएमके की भ्रष्ट और माफिया स्टाइल राजनीति को नकारा है।
Therefore, DMK looks at this region with a feeling of political revenge. Remember how a member of DMK’s top family insulted the people a few months ago? Now, they have sent here a politician known for massive scams including TASMAC scam.

When there is a double engine government, work moves faster. Schemes reach people quicker. Benefits multiply. Take the PM Surya Ghar scheme for example. For now, it has reached only eight thousand homes in Coimbatore. Each home got about seventy five thousand rupees subsidy for rooftop solar. So, eight thousand homes means total about sixty crore rupees given by the Centre. But the benefit does not stop at subsidy. Solar power cuts electricity bills. People save money. According to one calculation, each home saves about two thousand rupees every month on power bills. Eight thousand homes together save about one point six crore rupees every month. That is about nineteen crore rupees every year. With an active state government, if the scheme reaches one lakh homes, imagine the impact! The business for local solar vendors goes up. Subsidy from Centreto people of Coimbatore would be around eight hundred crore rupees. Every year, people’s savings on electricity would be around two hundred and fifty crore rupees.
सोचिए, बिलजी बिलों में लगभग ढाई सौ करोड़ रूपये से भी ज्यादा की बचत!
This reduces the burden on the government to give power subsidies. Government saves money and can fund other welfare schemes. Further, rooftop solar reduces pressure on the power grid. This means Coimbatore’s industries get more electricity at lower cost. It means more investment, more jobs and more prosperity. यह नागरिकों को शक्ति-शाली बनाने का, people को empower करने का उत्तम प्रयास है.
You are getting power. and, you are getting empowered. Similarly, Centre is running many important welfare schemes of this kind. Crores of bank accounts, homes, water connections, gas connections and MUDRA loans have made a real impact. In the past decade, we have lifted twenty five crore people out of poverty. That is larger than the population of many countries.
These twenty five crore people are aspirational. They spend on goods and services. Who makes these goods? Small industries in places like Coimbatore. Who sells them? Local businesses and shops run by the middle class. Who works there? Youth from the middle class. So, when Central schemes are implemented without delay, both poor and middle class benefit. Growth reaches everyone. This is why Tamil Nadu needs a double engine NDA government.

We care about your savings. Before 2014, an income of twelve lakh rupees meant paying up to two lakh rupees in tax. Today, on twelve lakh rupees,the tax is zero. That is direct savings in the hands of the middle class. We added another layer of relief by reducing GST rates. So, people pay less when they buy goods and services.
सोचिए, Middle class को इससे कितना फ़ायदा होगा.
Now, families can save more for education, health and housing. They can invest more and earn more from it. They can also spend more on goods and services. When demand increases, it boosts production in factories. It supports small businesses and local markets. So, tax savings drive growth across the entire economy. भारत के MSME सेक्टर को फायदा होगा, अर्थ-व्यवस्था मजबूत होगी. और इसका बहुत बड़ा फ़ायदा तमिलनाडू को होगा.
Let us take health as a sector. Here too, you can see how we benefit each family. Under Ayushman Bharat, the poor get free treatment up to five lakh rupees every year. This now includes senior citizens above seventy years of all sections of society. Healthcare for elders is a major concern for the middle class. We have taken care of that. आपके सेहत की, आपके घर में बुजुरगों के सेहत की, बच्चों के सेहत की चिंता NDA सरकार कर रही है.
At Jan Aushadhi stores, medicines are up to eighty percent cheaper. Some estimates say that each family saves about twelve thousand rupees every year due to Jan Aushadhi Kendra. Kidney patients need frequent dialysis. Each session can cost thousands. But the Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Programme provides free dialysis for the poor. We also capped the prices of heart stents and knee implants This saved lakhs of rupees for the people. We have also removed GST on health insurance premiums. From free treatments to cheap medicines, from heart stents to kidney dialysis. we have taken steps to take care of the health of the senior citizens and the sick. यानी, कम वेल्थ खर्च करना, और top quality health support मिलना.
In November last year, I had come to Coimbatore for a summit on natural farming. It was an experience I will never forget. Hard working progressive farmers from Coimbatore and Tamil Nadu showed their innovations in this area. I salute our farmers. I also assure them that a double engine NDA Government in Tamil Nadu will improve their lives. DMK सरकार के कभी किसानों की चिंता नहीं की. NDA की double engine सरकार किसान कल्याण को priority देगी. मैं आज कोयंबटूर की इस धरती से, तमिलनाडु के लोगों को कुछ गारंटीज देने आया हूं।
Once NDA comes to power, we will fix law and order. Our sisters’ safety is our priority. We will take strong action against land mafia, sand mafia and liquor mafia. We will create a Tamil Nadu that is free from the evil of drugs. This will save the lives of thousands of youth. We will end the DMK’s transfer posting scams and corruption. We will investigate all of DMK’s scams and take action.

In the coming days, reach every household in this region. Meet every voter especially first-time voters and women voters. Explain NDA’s vision to them. Expose DMK’s failures. Tell people that this election is about Tamil Nadu’s future. Ensure that on 23rd April, every booth witnesses record voting.
