प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने आज ओस्लो स्थित रॉयल पैलेस में नॉर्वे के महामहिम राजा हेराल्ड पंचम से मुलाकात की।
प्रधानमंत्री ने भारत की जनता की तरफ से शुभकामनाएं और बधाई प्रेषित कीं। उन्होंने नॉर्वे की प्राकृतिक सुंदरता की तारीफ की। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत और नॉर्वे के बीच लंबे समय से चले आ रहे मैत्रीपूर्ण संबंध लोकतंत्र, कानून के शासन और जन-केंद्रित सुशासन जैसे साझा मूल्यों के आधार पर लगातार मजबूत हो रहे हैं
प्रधानमंत्री मोदी और महामहिम राजा हेराल्ड पंचम ने विभिन्न क्षेत्रों, विशेष रूप से नई प्रौद्योगिकियों में भारतीय और नॉर्वेजियन कंपनियों द्वारा की गई उल्लेखनीय प्रगति पर चर्चा की।
इस मुलाकात के बाद महामहिम द्वारा प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के सम्मान में एक मध्याह्न भोजन (लंच) का आयोजन किया गया।
प्रधानमंत्री ने उन्हें दिए गए शानदार आतिथ्य और सत्कार के लिए महामहिम का आभार व्यक्त किया।
