श्रीलंका के राष्ट्रपति अनुरा कुमारा दिसानायके ने प्रधानमंत्री से मुलाकात की

Sri Lankan, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake met Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi in New Delhi, reaffirming the strong friendship between India and Sri Lanka.

The two leaders reviewed the progress in India–Sri Lanka relations in recent times and discussed avenues of cooperation in areas such as energy, connectivity, infrastructure, healthcare, skilling, culture, the blue economy, and other sectors of mutual interest.

The Prime Minister said in X post;

“Strengthening friendship with a valued neighbour!

It was wonderful meeting President Anura Kumara Dissanayake in Delhi. We took stock of the progress in India-Sri Lanka relations in the recent times. We also discussed avenues of cooperation in areas such as energy, connectivity, infrastructure, healthcare, skilling, culture, blue economy and more.

प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने आज महात्मा अय्यंकाली की जयंती पर उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की। श्री मोदी ने महात्मा अय्यंकाली को सामाजिक न्याय के महान अग्रदूत के रूप में याद किया, जिन्होंने अपना जीवन सामाजिक रूप से वंचित लोगों के सशक्तिकरण और कल्याण के लिए समर्पित कर दिया। प्रधानमंत्री ने सामाजिक रूप से वंचित लोगों के लिए शिक्षा के अवसर सुनिश्चित करने, कृषि श्रमिकों के जीवन स्तर में सुधार लाने और निर्धनों की सेवा करने के उनके प्रयासों पर प्रकाश डाला।

उन्हें सामाजिक न्याय के एक महान अग्रदूत के रूप में याद किया जाता है। सामाजिक रूप से वंचित लोगों के लिए शिक्षा के अवसर सुनिश्चित करने, कृषि श्रमिकों के जीवन स्तर में सुधार लाने और निर्धनों की सेवा करने के उनके प्रयास अत्यंत प्रेरणादायक हैं। उनका जीवन सामाजिक सशक्तिकरण के लिए काम करने वाले सभी लोगों को शक्ति प्रदान करता है।
