Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today addressed BJP MPs at a Parliamentary Party meet in New Delhi.

During his address, PM Modi strongly condemned the opposition parties for disrupting the ongoing Winter Session of Parliament. PM Modi said that when the government is working against corruption and black money the opposition is defending the corrupt.

PM Modi slammed congress party for not implementing demonetization in 1971. “Wanchoo committee had given recommendation of demonetisation to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, but she snubbed the report”, said the PM. “If they would have implemented note ban in 1971, the country wouldn't have suffered, he further added.

PM Modi also asked BJP MPs to spread the message of demonetization to the people.  He emphasised that fighting against corruption is the main target of his government.

PM Modi lauded the Chief Minister of Odisha  Shri Naveen Patnaik and Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Nitish Kumar for supporting the decision of demonetisation.
