Hon'ble CM calls upon people to make Gandhinagar most excellent green city

Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi while flagging off the BJP organized Prakriti Padyatra today at Gandhinagar called upon people to make Gandhinagar a most excellent green city. He exuded faith that people of Gandhinagar will catch the opportunity and will work for the greening of the city and will show their love towards the nature.

The five and a half kilometer padyatra, beginning from the statue of Ravishankar Maharaj and ending to the Mahatma Mandir saw a large participation from youth, students and people in general. Chief Minister, in the beginning paid floral tribute to the statue of Ravishankar Maharaj and begin the padyatra.

Chief Minister while congratulating the Gandhinagar BJP for the organization of the padyatra said that Gandhinagar BJP office has become first in the country among all political parties to get the ISO certification. The party office has successfully linked its political activities into pro-people constructive activities, he said.

He especially mentioned a move by Gandhinagar BJP where they organized training programme for making nutritious food items with a view to fight malnutrition. He also recalled a youth cycle rally that BJP arranged in the city for the awareness of environment issues.

The padyatra concluded at Mahatma Mandir.

UK Foreign Secretary meets Prime Minister

UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper today met Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

The Prime Minister expressed his pleasure upon the meeting and appreciated the deepening of the India-UK partnership in recent times which has unlocked unprecedented growth opportunities for both countries.

The Prime Minister affirmed that the India-UK Vision 2035 will continue to guide the partnership and strengthen joint efforts for the global good.

The Prime Minister posted on X:
