CM encourages tribals to take vows of becoming free from addictions

The Chief Minister Narendra Modi today attended the 27-day nam mahotsav organized by Shri Girish Bapu at the interior village of Baheda-Raipura in Vyara taluka of Tapi district.

Speaking at the function as the guest of honour the Chief Minister described the de-addiction drive initiated by Girish Bapu as a significant service to the society. The people of tribal community are honest and hard working. If they become free from addictions, they can emerge as a collective strength, which can play important role in the development of Gujarat, he said.

Chief Minister encouraged the tribals to take vows of becoming free from addictions. He also felicitated five leaders of the society who contributed greatly in the field of social service.

Panchayat Minister Narottam Patel, Tribal Development Minister Mangubhai Patel, Kanjibhai Patel, Mohanbhai Dhodiya, Kantibhai Gamit, saints and a large number of satsangi families from tribal areas were present on the occasion.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi to participate in Kautilya Economic Conclave, New Delhi

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will participate in the Kautilya Economic Conclave on 4th October at around 6:30 PM at the Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi. He will also address the gathering on the occasion.

The third edition of the Kautilya Economic Conclave will be held from 4th to 6th October. This year’s conclave will focus on themes such as financing the green transition, geo-economic fragmentation and the implications for growth, principles for policy action to preserve resilience among others.

Both Indian and international scholars and policy makers will discuss some of the most important issues confronting the Indian economy and economies of the Global South. Speakers from across the world will take part in the conclave.

The Kautilya Economic Conclave is being organised by the Institute of Economic Growth in partnership with the Ministry of Finance.
