On the morning of Wednesday 19th June 2013 Shri Narendra Modi spoke to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Shri Vijay Bahuguna. Shri Modi assured Shri Bahuguna of any help required in dealing with the worrisome flood situation in the hill state and also asked about the people from Gujarat who have been affected by the floods.

Last evening, Shri Modi had extended solidarity with the people of Uttarakhand and prayed that normalcy is restored soon. He had Tweeted, Seeing extremely disturbing visuals of floods in Uttarakhand. We stand by the people during this hour & pray things get back to normal soon.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has wished all Civil Servants on the occasion of Civil Services Day. 

In a tweet Shri Modi, said:

“Best wishes to all Civil Servants on the occasion of Civil Services Day. In different terrains and across different sectors, they are working tirelessly to help our citizens and enhance national progress. May they keep serving the nation with the same zeal.”
