Chief Minister Narendra Modi offered his heartfelt condolences on the death of veteran Actor Dev Anand and paid homage to the great talented soul.On the Actor’s demise inLondondue to the cardiac arrest, Shri Narendra Modi further tweeted, “The guide of entertainment industry Dev Sahab has passed away. Our tributes to him, May his Soul rest in Peace.”
Remembering the emergency period, he tweeted, “During the 1975 Emergency imposed by Indira Gandhi, Dev Sahab was the one who stood up in favor of democracy with most conviction.”
It is noteworthy to mention that Shri Narendra Modi had been active during the emergency imposed by then Prime Minister and Congress Leader Smt. Indira Gandhi.
