The Chief Minister sent a message thanking all his fans. Deeply touched by the concern that people have shown for him, he said,

“All my well wishers who were concerned about my health, who have felt my suffering to be their own and who have done whatever they could in their reach to make me fit, I want to tell all of them that it’s because of your good wishes and care that I am able to restore my health again and I assure you that vigor I’ll be back to my duty of serving you with doubled vigor. His message in his own words:

All my beloved well-wishers…

Mothers, sisters, young friends, elders, kids…

Thanks and greetings….

In the flood of your feelings of concern, my suffering and my ailment have both been washed away.

My ailment has caused a lot of worry - in the country and outside.

Knowingly or unknowingly I have caused pain to all of you and I apologize to all of you for that

Your love and my feelings for Gujarat and my feelings for all of you have kept me moving.

This feeling of dedicating each and every moment for Gujarat grows deeper because of this love.

Amidst the hectic work schedule for developing the state I never thought that the body has its own religion and rules to follow. Ultimately this ailment has allowed my body to take the rest that was due for it. However, above all, your feelings and concern have touched me deeply and has given me a reason to be happy.

My heart and my soul are overwhelmed by the constant flow of unconditional love of my well wishers from all across the world.

I don’t have words that can express my gratitude for the warmth and solicitude that you’ve shown. I can’t even think of imagining such an experience of happiness.

All my well wishers who have shown concern for my health, made my suffering to be their own, who have borne much pain, who have knocked on God’s doors through their prayers - prayers for freeing me from this pain and who have done all that they could in their reach just to help me regain my health.

For this unconditional love that you’ve showered on me, if I walk away by saying a mere thank you then it will hurt me inside because this very unconditional love has allowed me to restore my health. I assure you that I’ll be back to my duty of serving you with stronger vigor than ever.

Once again I bow down to the love, kindness, feeling and warmth that you bestowed on me.

Yours

Narendra Modi.

The Prime Minister said that the pain and anguish expressed by Rashtrapati Ji, who herself hails from a tribal community, has caused immense sadness in the minds of the people of India.

Shri Modi stated that the TMC Government of West Bengal has crossed all limits and that their administration is responsible for this insult to the President.

The Prime Minister further said that it is equally unfortunate that a subject as important as Santal culture is being treated so casually by the West Bengal Government.
