C M connects to the people of the state in Cyber Nutan Sneh Milan Program

Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi connected to the people of the state yesterday to wish them a prosperous New Year through 20,000 satcom.

He appealed to the people the state to contribute for the Golden Jubliee celebration in 2010. To make this event a grand event he appealed all the citizens to strive hard to put their best foot forward. He conveyed the message through a video conference from his office in Gandhinagar. He wished government officials of all 26 districts and motivated them by his speech.

He also met senior cabinet minister Shri Narottam Patel, Shri Raman Vora, Shrimati Anandi Patel, Chief Secretary D Rajgopalan, DGP SS khandwawala and senior secretaries of various departments.

PM Modi hails the commencement of 20th Session of UNESCO’s Committee on Intangible Cultural Heritage in India

The Prime Minister has expressed immense joy on the commencement of the 20th Session of the Committee on Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO in India. He said that the forum has brought together delegates from over 150 nations with a shared vision to protect and popularise living traditions across the world.

The Prime Minister stated that India is glad to host this important gathering, especially at the historic Red Fort. He added that the occasion reflects India’s commitment to harnessing the power of culture to connect societies and generations.
