Hailing Shri Akkineni Nageswar Rao as the pride of India, the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today remarked that his iconic performances will continue to enthral generations to come. He expressed his satisfaction to meet Shri Nagarjuna Akkineni and his family.

Responding to a post by Shri Nagarjuna Akkineni on X, Shri Modi said:

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam today, highlighting the virtues of giving fearlessness and saving lives.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

"अभयस्यैव यो दाता तस्यैव सुमहत्फलम् ।

न हि प्राणसमं दानं त्रिषु लोकेषु विद्यते ॥"

Whoever takes away people's fear receives great blessings, and in all three worlds, there is no greater gift than saving a life.
