Actor Producer Mr. Sanjay Khan calls on Shri Narendra Modi

Mr. Khan expressed confidence Gujarat’s development will be written about in the near future

Well known actor Mr. Anupam Kher lauds development in Gujarat, says the state is an amazing place to feel proud of a developing India

Well-known producer and actor of Hindi films as well as history oriented TV serials Mr. Sanjay Khan paid a visit to Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi in Gandhinagar on Monday, 18th June 2012.

Mr. Khan is impressed by Gujarat’s all round development and he expressed confidence that someone would surely write on Gujarat’s development in the future.

The actor-producer is on a visit to Gujarat for his A-one city project.

On the same day, renowned actor on the big screen Mr. Anupam Kher had extremely kind words to say on the development in Gujarat. On the micro-blogging site Twitter, Mr. Kher tweeted, “Difference between 'doers' & 'want to do' is GUJRAT. Amazing place to feel proud of developing India. #KucchBhiHoSaktaHai.:)”

Responding to Mr. Kher’s for his kind words, Shri Modi attributed the development in Gujarat to the continued efforts of the mantra ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ (all together, growth for all).

Just recently this month, famous actor Mr. Paresh Rawal (who has also played role of Sardar Patel) lauded Shri Modi as a visionary.

Bollywood has been engaging with Gujarat in various ways. World famous superstar Mr. Amitabh Bachchan is the brand ambassador for Gujarat Tourism. His ‘Khushbu Gujarat Ki’ has become very famous among households and has played a major role in bringing more tourists to Gujarat. Last year, Mr. Akhshay Kumar visited the state and extended his support to the Government’s sports extravaganza Khel Mahakumbh.

Apart from this, many film personalities have come to the state to invest here. This includes award-winning actor Mr. Ajay Devgn (who has invested in solar power plant at Charanka) and Ms. Preity Zinta. Recently, producer Mr. Arbaaz Khan and actor Mr. Vivek Oberoi called on Shri Modi and shared some of their upcoming projects along with their proposed partnership with Gujarat. Bollywood luminaries have also extended their support to Sadbhavana Mission.

Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi will visit Karnataka on 15th April 2026. At around 11 AM, Prime Minister will inaugurate the Sri Guru Bhairavaikya Mandira at Sri Kshetra Adichunchanagiri in Mandya district. He will also address the gathering on the occasion.

During the visit, Prime Minister will also jointly release the book titled “Saundarya Lahari and Shiva Mahimna Stotram” along with former Prime Minister Shri H. D. Deve Gowda ji.

Sri Guru Bhairavaikya Mandira is a memorial dedicated to the revered seer, Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji, the 71st Pontiff of Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math. Constructed in the traditional Dravidian architectural style, the Mandira stands as a tribute to the life and legacy of the late seer.
